Gospel for Today: Luke 13: 31-35
Imagine being told to “Go away, leave this area” because someone wants us dead.
It happened in the Gospel today, but it did not deter Jesus from accomplishing what needed to be done.
We have that experience sometimes too. Not being told that someone wants us dead – but maybe not being accepted in a Parish or a place. Maybe having other people speak ill of us, and spreading rumors and lies about us. So we, too, get told to leave, or even told not to even come.
But it should not deter us. And should not stop us from doing the mission entrusted to us.Because we are with the Lord, our God. And we know we have the anointing to do this work. Check this next video for one focal point for 2027!
